I had a wonderful Christmas season in Southern California with only one glitch, the original hotel I booked (8 rooms for 8 days) was undergoing a massive remodeling and it was terrible.
After one night we all packed up and moved to the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, California. We spent the rest of our week there and enjoyed it very much.
I have stayed at this particular Hyatt many times in the past and enjoyed it each time, this time was no exception. The staff was helpful in arranging a junior suite for us so that we could all gather and enjoy catching up on the past year. I think the people at the Hyatt even went out of their way to be helpful, supplying a mini refrigerator and a table large enough for us to spread out all our homemade cookies and candies.
